in Dawson

Dawson, the center of one of the greatest gold rushes on history, is still today an intriguing place. unpaved streets which turn to mud tracks in rain; boardwalks you walk on instead of the mud; building sinking slowly in the permafrost ground. saloon where the nights end in bright daylight (sunset is around midnight). other bars where the drinking ends because of good old fashioned bar fights.
I shouldn't forget to mention the sourtoe club which involves an old shrunken human toe (think of an old man's toe, all yellowed...).
